Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Dumonte Ateliers processes and delivers orders.

Where your order ships from

Every bowl is made in small batches by our partner ceramics workshop in Jiangxi, China, and is shipped directly from the workshop to you with tracking.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. You will receive an order confirmation by email right away, and a shipping confirmation with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery time and rates

  • Slovakia: tracked shipping, $3.99, usually 7-20 business days after dispatch
  • All other countries we ship to: tracked international shipping, $16.00, usually 7-20 business days after dispatch

Together with processing, most orders arrive within 8-23 business days. Delivery times are estimates and can be longer during holidays or customs checks. The exact rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Customs, duties and import taxes

Because your order ships from outside your country, it may be subject to import duties, import VAT or carrier handling fees when it arrives. These charges are set by your country's customs authority, are not included in our prices or shipping rates, and are paid by the recipient.

United States: parcels from China are subject to US import duties. Your carrier may contact you to collect these charges before delivery.

European Union: import VAT and, where applicable, customs duty may be charged on delivery.

If you refuse to pay these charges and the parcel is returned, we will refund the order minus the original shipping cost and any return charges we are billed.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking. You can follow your parcel using the link in your shipping confirmation email.

Lost, delayed or damaged parcels

If your order has not arrived within 30 business days of dispatch, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and send a replacement or a full refund. If your bowl arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you in full.
